Default Which Lightweight Seats Should I Get?

So I'm starting to lighten up my Camaro & will be getting seats soon. My car is my DD & I go on long drives quite a bit... But don't mind if something isn't as comfortable as the stock leather seats. I already have my rear seats removed & right now it weighs 3340 1/2 tanks without me in it. Was wondering what seats you guys would suggest that be light & at least somewhat comfortable? Thanks

I'd say the Pro's too! I mean if you're not doing any road racing than no need for the others.

If someone has the pros I'd like to see close ups of the quality!

Jesus I got sore the last time I drove to the drag strip and back. How much worse can you make the seats?

Does the car have a cage?? If not, I would be worried about not bending the seat as it has nothing to attatch to from behind. Kirkey though makes a killer seat, you would be hard pressed to find better.

Kirkey seats are uncomfortable pure crap imo. I had one, and never even installed it cause it was so uncomfortable. That is NOT something you want for a DD...

Is it possible to buy an aftermarket seat that will retain the 6-way power adjustment on my driver's side?

Pro Drags FTW!!!! I have them and have driven numerous 200mile trips and have never had a problem. Hell, my GF likes them better than my old Corbeau Forza IIs. Just make sure you get some nice brackets for them. I'm running Racecraft brackets with mine.

That Porsche seat is amazing... But a little to much for me right now. That second one is real nice also. Thanks for the post

Yea, $2,000 really isn't to bad for what they are. I've been dead set on the NRGs, but I found the others the other day and yea, there double the price, but it doesn't get better I don't think. Not for the price. OEM Porsche seats are $5,000+.

I only have the driver's seat in now since the car is in race trim for the next few weeks. I can snap some pics of the the way it sits now though and post them later.

Why the pro streets over the road race streets? Just wondering what makes the one better over the other? Road race ones look pretty comfortable? Thanks

Didn't get a chance to snap any pics today. I'll try to get some tomorrow. Nothing to wild, cam, boltons, built t56, 9", lots of suspension, and some weight reduction.

Very nice setup... that must be a hell of a DD car but are the prostreets lighter then the road race seats? Because the road race looks like they would be more comfortable then the pro streets? But not as light?

One of the things I learned with race seats is that you can but them wider if needed, and the kirkey's I have seen has some real plush padding in the seat so IMO your just loosing the adjustibility but getting the weight break.

There is always compromise when trying to ditch weight.
