Can someone tell me how hard it would be to wet sand and buff the tail lights on a Trans Am? I am looking at buying a used tail light to replace my driver side lens (cracked and filled w/ condensation, i.e. black). I found one in good shape on this site, but it has a scuff mark that would have to buffed out.

Do you have the power tools available? Porter-Cable or other machine?
Even a simple cheap 'Wal-Mart special' buffer would work.
Wet-sand with 1500-2000grit, then use some Plastic-Polish, which can also be picked up at WallyWorld.
If you are going to do it by hand, ..., Write-off the weekend, ...
I'd polish them all, to keep them all similar in finish also.

Depending on how bad they are, I dont think you will need to actually wetsand them. Judging by the pics you provided, I think your lights are fine and should finish nicely with a Porter Cable and some paint polishing compound.
