Driving lights
I would like to replace the fog lights on my 01 Z28 with some good driving lights. I want something that is good and bright but I'm also not out to spend a load of cash. Anyone know some good ones to look at? I can custome make brakets so I'm not worried about that.
Thanks
Chris

Re: Driving lights
One of the first mods I did was remove the stock Blazer pencil beams and replaced them with PIAA 1000x Series super white driving lights. Fabbing the mount for the 1000x's wasn't all that easy and required a dremel (as they're plastic) and about a week of fine tuning the aim of them. The 1100x's on the other hand have a regular metal bracket that makes fabbing a mount easier. I installed a set of 1100x's on the G/F's 99 Malibu with ease and fabbed her factory bracket to work with the PIAA's.
Here's a link to mine. I did the wiring to keep both the low beams and driving lights on when the high beams are flipped. I have PIAA bulbs in both the low beams and high beams as well as the 1000x's

Trust me, at night I have no problem lighting the world up. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
