Ive been asking for this for a while. I want one. How about making a cover that goes over it?

Well there's already a line created by the roof/t-top so it would need to match that. Where's a line down the center of a hard top? Or even a t-top? There's that 2" wide trim strip but a 2" wide seam wouldn't make things any better. With 2 pieces, this thing still has to sit on its side and will be half as wide as the car! Not gonna cut shipping prices much. A 3 piece panel would sit far more flat and be easier to box and likely cheaper. I'd only buy an after market one of it got rid of those little black triangles from behind the windows.

If it was a 3-piece design with it cut in the line along with the windows, I think it would look good, and shipping would be much cheaper than anything else... I would definately buy it.

Edit: my '98 has the bubble problem FWIW

Mines a 99 and I've got bubbles. The 3 piece sounds like a good idea if you have like the rubber pieces that separate them like weather stripping

Ive talked to him in person about this and correct me if im wrong Mark but the dealer would be cheaper in the end?

Well, when we looked into it the dealer still had them but now people are saying they don't...
