I keep seeing posts about a whistler mod, what the heck is that?

Cliff's notes:

Take stock headlights
Open stock headlights
Paint everything but the projector bowl black
Close and re-seal headlights

Now you have Whistler modded your headlights.

Most if not all whistler mods I've seen look like ****, I think the mod in general looks like ****. Aeon imports on eBay sells a stock style "half" whistler modded headlights, they are clean simple and still have a dark look to them.

as mentioned, its a way of painting the camaro headlights. made famous by Keith Whistler, its now an extremely popular, easy to do appearance mod.

I have to disagree with this completely. Especially on a black car like mine the huge silver headlights look completely out of place. If done correctly, as well as the car setup correctly i think the whistler mod is a great idea.

Have you seen the C6 headlights? They are the same color as the body of the car, this is the Whistler Mod

The whistler mod has nothing to do with being body colored. 99% of people do black, regardless of the cars color
