A few new touches

Been a while since I posted some of the little things I've been doing so here's my nose piece I made a while back with a new set of eyes. Plus I recently had to tear my heads off the block so it gave me an opportunity to do some cleaning up and changing of things. Enjoy.

Notice the new wrinkle paint on the valve covers.

I love how the intake, valve covers and headers all seem to mix together color wise. Looks goooood!

Thanks guys.

Yes, I wired some LED's and resistors in line and hooked it up to come on with the headlights. I'll try to get a night time shot of it soon.

most comment on the wrinkle paint, but did anyone notice the valve covers not only didn't have the coils on them, but didn't have the coil posts... cleaned up very nicely!

One suggestion to clean up those valve covers: remove the filler neck, and install the cap directly onto the cover

You won't regret it!

Thanks guys. I really want to put the cap in the cover but think I will regret it once oil change time comes around again.

The wrinkle looks good and the skull is certainly unique! I really like the look of wrinkle paint. I painted my wheels on my Jetta a wrinkle metallic silver they came out surprisingly well, the wheels were trashed so I figured I would try to fix them and then do something a little different.
