I would love to pick up a quality made Superhawk hood or even a knock off if anyone were to make one. I know that one guy on E-bay was selling them for a while and was really tempted to pick one up with the idea of having to do a lot of work to it.

The WSQ hood is borderline for me. I LOVE the two ports like the Superhawk but as several others have said, not sure how I feel about the heat extractors in the center. I just might be able to overlook that part due to how I love the 2 'nostril' look. I had a Raptor hood on my '99 T/A and loved the look at fit of it. I just want something a bit more bold that sits higher and I've never cared for the WS6 hoods at all (no offense to anyone!). Just seems like there aren't many choices for me!

yea, and im still tempted... found one back on ebay for $250 and some work, or a lot of work, it may come out ok... formula vincent thanks for the details...

could i take a ws6 hood and get rid of the middle horizontal piece at the front of the hood and make the four openings appear as two like the superhawk? if that makes sense? with some grill work behind so it doesnt look bad, but... ???

If you want a silent auction, then put it on ebay. Why not just put up a for sale add for the hood and see what it'll bring. Honestly, as great as the hood is design wise, it's not worth more than $1000. There's nothing stopping Roger from making these as he still has the molds.

It is not a hoax. Roger is making these hoods again. I purchased one last month and it is amazing! Roger is great to deal with. He has been very helpful. FedEx damaged my hood during shipping with a forklift and I could see the damage when I went to pick it up. I noticed the damage after unwrapping the hood. I filed a claim with FedEx and am still waiting for them to accept or deny it. In the event FedEx does deny it Roger offered to help me fix it by showing me how to repair the damage through step-by-step pictures. He has no obligation to help me with the repair since it was insured through FedEx but that is the kind of person he is. I installed it with the damage and it fits amazing. Its nicer than any aftermarket hood I have ever seen! I couldn't believe how well everything lines up. Anyway, this is the real deal. If anyone is on the fence about it I suggest you buy one now when they are available because you never know when Roger will stop making them again. On the other hand, if everyone thinks they aren't legit and decides to go with another hood that is better for me. My car will be that much more unique. So forget everything I just said ;-)

I'm not really seing the difference in this hood aside from a WS6 hood, aside from WS6 doesnt have the cool vents on the sides. Is this smooth between the "nostrils" up to the windshield like a single cowl or is it a minute dip? Can someone take a few different angles of their original superhawk hood or maybe just point it out to me.

WSQ hood is on top of my list but this one is pretty sleek and I like how it doesnt have square "nostrils"

Do you know the difference between a Firehawk hood and a WS6 hood? Mainly it's the nostrils, and the Firehawk has heat ports past the shock towers.

Well the superhawk takes the looks of the Firehawk hood, and makes the ram air portions more pronounced, and raises the back another 1-2", I forget exactly how much higher, but it's higher in the back.
