This is all hilarious, except for what the dealership dinged me for two today. $15.xx
I'm sure after shipping the price would have been the same through Hawk's though.

Which piece did they sell you exactly? Was it part plastic or all rubber? Which ones are you replacing, the ones at the corner near the lights?

Well they were separate pieces, the plastic screw part, and then the rubber top. They do look just like the ones at the lights but I put these in the ones by the fenders. The ones at the lights appear to be intact, thankfully. Guess the engine heat hasn't cooked them as much over the 16 years or something.

I stopped by the dealer today... actually two dealers bc the first one didn't have the parts in stock and sent me to the other one.

Interestingly enough, they had the plastic screw part which was PN 10413888 and it is labeled as "BUMPER HOOD AD"... I asked about the stopper and he said "they changed the design, it doesn't need the cap anymore."

I really don't know why he said that, but I was like whatever and just bought the part. I took the rubber cap off the broken one and it pushed right into the new part. Then I screwed it in.

If you need the cap, I don't know what part number that would be because it wasn't labeled in the picture. Perhaps that is why they guy that it didn't have one anymore... I know when I was looking at the screen with the first guy at the other dealer there was a part in the list called "CAP," which may in fact be the cap. The ones on ebay seem to come with the cap when you order them... but they are more expensive than what I paid so that clearly includes the price of the cap.

Yeah the 2 hard plastic screw parts were in individual bags, and then he had a whole bag of caps where I bought mine. I wish I had the caps from my broken ones! I didn't though, the two on the fender areas were probably well cooked over the 195k+ miles my car has driven. There were just some pieces of brittle plastic, the tops were long gone. I did get the passenger side of my hood to sit a bit higher, but it still doesn't line up perfect. What do I want out of an aftermarket hood?
