Not really. I got mine from a member here that were slightly damaged for $125 shipped. This guy is asking $140 plus at least 15 bucks shipping. Not too bad for new stuff if you ask me.

its probably a replica. there's alot of cme tips going for around 150.00. most arent slp tips, but they look the same. the valance are what are very expensive. most are 340-600.00

Definitely not OEM but well-worth the money IMO. I just bought some OEM CME tips with a brace already tig-welded on the back for $80 from a buddy of mine and I have to find the 90*'s. I PM'd a member on here and have a good lead on some Pypes 90's that should work. OP- if you're looking for CME, buy these and a valance from Mark (6LE).

My buddy bought a set exactly like the set in the link. They look perfect and have a good polishing already. The biggest difference is the OEM are heavier and stainless.

That is an AMAZING price. WAYYYYY cheaper than I even pay wholesale. They HAVE to be made in China but as long as they don't crack on you then you should be fine. Then again even if they do you can buy two sets for what I pay for one...

Of course, don't complain when America's economy goes down the crapper to China

I would rather have the Stainless tips Mark offers hands down . Made in America
and hand made ! You can tell the craftsmanship behind them just by looking at them !

I appreciate it To be honest though, my profit margin on tips is hardly anything, I just offer them to be able to sell more valances... That being said, feel free to buy China tips if it gets you to come buy my American made valances !!!

Not a problem I dont understand why people buy cheap junk . By quality
good looking **** for god sakes ! If its the "not enough $$$" issue then save
up a bit longer .

They look identical to the SLP tips. It's just definitely something I can afford right now, so why not?
Then I'll go ahead and get a 6 LE Valence.

Looks can be deceiving especially when subjected to heat/cool down periods .
Why not buy a quality set and never worry about them cracking or becoming
broken in some way ? That way you wont have to buy tips more than once ?

The actual body is cast aluminum . The bends and ends are stainless . Cast aluminum
is what breaks so easy under stress . I bet those will break in the center where the
support braces are . Cast aluminum can be manufactured with inferior metals causing
them to break so easy . It also makes the prices of the item low .
