Camaro bumper emblem question

I have 2 Camaro bumper emblem one is original other is new from GM dealer.

The original is on the left the factory replacement is on the right.

Can someone tell me if the one on the left is normal or just faded. Why do they look different is my real question.

I would think the old one is faded. Cause mine looks like the old one and mine sits outside so I don't see why it wouldn't fade.

old one is faded. Its supposed to be red, white, blue. vivid colors. Also, there is the possibility that different batches came out with different hues. Very common amongst other things

Thanks for your responses. Only reason i was asking about it, because i got a gash/nick on my new emblem and thought i might just use my old one instead.
