Looking for some....

....polished hood struts? I was looking for some of these sometime ago with no luck. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that people just polish the stock ones. I remember a thread about someone doing this a few years back.

except they are steel. yes alot of people do it but you have to seal them up someway obviously

That link inspired me to polish mine

I think they came out great. It takes a lot of elbow grease and about 2-3 hours total, but totally worth it IMO. Couple coats of clear and they will be good to go!
