I saw the thread, but didnt actually look at it. haha. I wanted to go with as big a TB as i could with this intake, while still going with a 'trusted' brand, because i dont want any sticking/tuning woes.
The intake was supposed to be port matched to a 96mm tb; but it appears to be as-cast at around 94.5mm... The PTM should fit, and looks to be on par with, say, a nick williams as far as quality goes. If id gone with a fast id already have a 102mm, but that was one of the big $ savers on the build (the ls3 intake setup) - even with having to buy another ****** throttle body..

Previously had it with some shotty audio wire, but now I have solid wiring, including a fatty 0ga going to the back, which means Ill get to do some audio stuff once the cars back

Irish - PM me the specs/pricing on that p/s pump. What are you doing for balancer/damper and alt? What about coolant crossover on the heads? Are you doing blocked rear and front crossover or a 4-1?

Ill find my invoice and fire one off, but heres the pump: http://turnone-steering.com/ls1pump.html
Theres a new UD crank pulley for the build, i forget the brand ATM
Alt is the same pulley that came on the Excessive Amperage alt (225 amp)
Kurt urban 4-1, you can see the plates on the heads there that the -an lines go into

Found it; looks like i paid 335 with the pulley installed.. Less parasitic loss, more adjustability, easier to service, no weird noises or leaky caps (plus it looks neat and came w a picture... im a sucker for pictures)

UPDATEN:
WELL WELL WELL
![](http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/irishnoname/gen4%20swap/Attch160.jpg)
its down to the last little stuff now.. need lines for the fuel/pcv fittings that i spent a month finding, iac and tps, seals for map, belts.. hmm what else..
After looking @ the clearance between the thermostatic adapter and the headers idk if ill be running a cooler. This kinda works for now, cause i realized i didnt get a cooler yet (hehe).
Itll also be interesting to see how long the shaker setup takes (i can already see myself busting out the angle grinder and going nuts once i hear this thing running)

i definetly want to keep this thread in my subscriptions. im planning the same 402/ls3 top end but im undecided on cam and intake/tb/ i think a 102/102 setup would be awsome but im not sure just how much hp will be gained over the ls3/95 intake. if there is alot left on the table then it might be worth it. my biggest goal is to have awsome throttle response and good low end power and descent high end that wont lvl off till about 6400 rpm

Thats my outlook on it; vs the ported intake im probably looking at a difference in 10-15 hp for the $700+ it would have been.
Granted, its closer to like 300 now, since i paid for two TBs; but i guess thats life...

Chittypic Miniupdate:
![](http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/irishnoname/gen4%20swap/IMG_6807.jpg)
Coming to realize all the 'little neat ****' i got is all in one area and really conflicting. The Kurt Urban setup has lines that arent long enough to fit under the cowl and over the ls3 cover. Its also competing with the PCV lines coming from the intake, and the catch cans, vapor block, and shaker setup are all in basically the same area...
Im hoping we can get around it with the right amount of new braided lines..
Intake needed to have the shavings removed before it goes on, but all these lines are now the holdup. Also got a new radiator thatll be going in shortly.

Update:Well, jump one hurdle and theres another there to rack your nuts on. The kurt urban setup fits, the catch can doesnt interfere, but it turns out the 6litereater shaker doesnt clear the ls3 intake. Basically, the runners are too tall, and the middle of the mounting bracket hits the intake before the 'legs' (which mount under the fuel rail studs) reach.
My mechanics taking the bracket home to try on his camaro to verify that we dont just need to bend this one into shape, but its looking like Ill need a new bracket made...
here you can see the mount in the top left:
![](http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c362/markdelisle/Shaker%20Hood/100_0840.jpg)
here you can see how it fits on an ls1 manifold, and the tabs go under the fuel rail studs:

I actually went to the shop today to grab the intake/flap and get to dremeling to make sure they fit together for the install.. glad we thought to test fit i guess.. gonna hold off on being destructive until i know for sure ill be able to actually use this on my car

Update: Okay. So it looks like my idea for the shaker bracket will work; but it wont solve my problem. While i dont have measurements yet it looks like the ls3 intakes height over the ls1 setup (that 6le designed it for) may push the box up enough for it to contact the hood. Still need to test fit to be sure, but it doesnt sound good. Glad i didnt do any cutting anywhere yet...
Another cool oversight: the bmr torque arm bracket/trans mount is designed for a bmr tq arm. Apparently my custom chromemoly torque arm is designed a bit differently. When the arm is adjusted right and has good pinion angle the new mount hits the floor/fuel lines. If the mounts at a safe distance the rear end points way too low. For those who like to see my pain:

Also, if you were gonna say how dirty it is.... fuckoff.
