Upfrontdate:so, the fronts coming together... i think shortly ill have a yes/no on the shaker

You can see the new hoses/radiator there, as well as the layer of dirt and **** on the strut towers (to match the underside; less exhaust though). Vap setup will get flipped so the -4 lines will exit passenger side and go to the rad.

next up is the intake/catch can

Update: Cool. So it looks like the ls3 intake is .5" taller than the ls1/6, so I may have just enough room. Sean @ tgms had some brackets made up to get the shakers mount to fit, so shortly well see if it clears the hood once bolted up. If it fits ill probably replace my bmr polished radiator shroud with a carbon fiber one, i guess the bmr one only mounts using two of the holes. You can also see my ls1 map on the ls3 intake here, thats also getting a bracket fabbed currently.

What doesnt fit: so remember that tq arm mount? Well the pinion angle/fuel clearances are good now, so on went the y pipe. It looks like Ill be grabbing a new Midwest Chassis tq arm to replace this chromemoly one, which will be for sale soon

Edit: hey look, a wideband o2 bung!----------------------------------------^

theres been so much interest, i decided it was time for

UPDATES:
We forgot to grab injector harnesses from Katech, so those are on their way. Shortly this will all be torqued down with the TB, tubing, etc. Also currently missing is the catch can setup, more fancy braided lines, !redlooms

Back here, i lost some red shiney, got some black shiney. Midwest Chassis came through with some toys; ill have to see what WS6 store can do about the tq arm mount, and then sell the old chromemoly tq arm. Decided to grab a QTP cutout just so i dont have to deal with any more welding on the exhaust. Ill get a plate for it later.

DOWNDATE!?: Well, i found some old 'wip' shots of the car, so in keeping with the jumblefuck lack of organization this thread appears to have, MOARPICS!:

some k member install action, what came out, and the upper/lower a-arms that were rebuilt:

While that was going in this was drying:

Thanks man. Yeah im not sure if ill have the right "black/silver" ratio when im done, but well see.

Also, i forgot the actual progress:

Waiting on injector harnesses/adapters from Lingenfelter (ls3 injectors on ls1 harness); not sure how these werent ordered before, but im sure looking at a list of every part ive ordered/needed itd be easy to skip it.

Also, the SDPC throttle cable bracket that I got from John is actually for a stock style tb (it seems); but its for a 1 bolt application vs the 2 bolts on the top/back of this tb.

Aside from that is sounds like the torque arm/trans mount/y pipe situation is finally resolved; radiator/fans/intake/tb are on.

still havent made progress on the shaker; kind of apprehensive - kind of been focusing on work so i didnt make it a priority with my mechanic.

Status update: got the injector harnesses from Linginfelter. waiting on the throttle cable bracket from SLP (i guess the SDPC one i got was for a nick williams tb). Gonna start cutting up carbon fiber today so the flapper fits the scoop from 6le, cause it looks like the box does clear the hood (may need a bit of clearancing, but it closes)

Sweet build! I'd like a 408 build for the 2011/2012 winter time, but we'll see.

Update: Just needs a tune and an alignment. Ive been keeping away from the shop so i dont wanna start it (just paranoid about washing it down or something without a tune).

Should have pics soon. Then videos. Then numbers. Then more videos.
