Yeah you can you just need to get a electronic flasher so they will work with the turn signals and your hazards.

It hooks up under the dash on the drivers side. There's a thread that shows how to install one that may help you better than me cause my explanations on stuff like that suck, Lol.

I was curious about this as well. I am thinking about getting these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-AMB...ht_1947wt_1165

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2X-5-...ht_3190wt_1163

Amber 3157 SMD's and amber 194 SMD's. I also have the stock amber housings. I'm assuming I should go with amber instead of white.

About the flasher though, is there one or two? And which one do I need to get? I've heard EL11, EL12, and EL13 lol

^I have the 194s and they are pretty bright, but I kept the stock 3157 bulbs because it is brighter than any smd bulb for the signals. Try searching for the 3157 amber smd bulbs with 27 smds on each bulb...the more the better, although they still won't be as bright as stock.

NOTE A custom set with led or smd strips is something to consider

Will that fit though? I found one with 30 and one with 42 but it looks like that one is a little dimmer.

^ Your best bet is to listen to Camaroguy, Lol. He knows his stuff with that I only have experience with the one car I have and the one set of LED's I have so when I speak, it's from the both sets of ones but Camaroguy knows his stuff with this.

It took me like 10 seconds to find these using search.

Thank you!! I was hesitant because I did not know which size SMD tower would fit in the camaro housings. Also wasn't sure about the flasher to use or where to get it, but now I know it's a EL12. I work for carquest and I cross referenced the EL12 part number but it didn't show anything in our system. So looks like we don't carry it. Oh well, there is a NAPA 2 mins down the street from here lol.

So I need to get two flashers if I want them to work for the turn signals and hazards? And I would really love to do my brakes with all LEDs but I've heard there's a lot more work to that and it wouldn't be bright enough to tell when the brakes are being pressed. Definitely putting SMD towers in my reverse lights though!

I would use red, because white LEDs are pure white so I'm guessing with the red housings that would come out to a pinkish color, not very bad *** looking lol. I'm leaving my brakes alone though. Just doing front turn signals and running lights, rear running lights on the sides, and reverse lights. I will have all this finished by christmas or a little after and I will be sure to post up pics.

When I get a chance this week I'm going to measure how much space I have in the turn signal housings so I can get the SMD tower with the most LEDs that will fit.

Ok I am going a little crazy with this...lol. I need to be certain of everything before I pull the trigger. This is turning out to be quite a bit more expensive than I thought. This is what I know for sure:

Turn signals
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-31...ht_1947wt_1165

Front running lights
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-19...ht_1983wt_1165

Rear running lights (sides not in tail lights) and ash tray
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-x-R...ht_1983wt_1165

Now what I am not certain about is which bulb to get for the one that lights up the window/unlock switches in the doors. I know the bulb size is 74, but when I go to that size it seems like it may be too long to fit, can anyone confirm this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/10x-R...ht_1947wt_1165

If those would not fit, what about these? The bulb number does not cross over though.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-T1...ht_1983wt_1165

Or is this what I'm looking for?
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...ecs/74_t15.htm

I also want to do my reverse lights. I have tinted tail lights with VHT, but it is a light coat that has been wet sanded and polished and it starting to fade because it's been a while. It looks more smoked than blacked out. Would the 18 SMD bulbs be bright enough? The 24s/27s are a lot more expensive.
http://desc.shop.ebay.com/cn.store/m...eDesc=1&_rdc=1

Sorry to ask so many questions...but this is confusing for me I am not that familiar with electrical work/bulbs. I would really appreciate anyones input that knows what they are talking about.

These guys are correct. EL12 Flasher. That is the one I use. I don't have one bulb on my car that isn't a LED. One thing however, on my car I had to use the LED load emulators. My cruise will not work with out them. Something with the low draw of the LED makes the car think the bulbs are burned out or something. Just one thing to think about when you do this.
