Rather not tint over the dots
Sigh, I'm wanting to tint the windows on my 2002 T/A but realize that the dots on the top of the rear window are going to screw up the tint.
What's the best way to get rid of them before I take my car to have the windows tinted?
Thanx,
BlackNova

Just find someone that really knows how to apply tint well, you will have no problem.
The guy that did mine has been doing it for 11 years and it looks flawless, see my sig for pics if you want... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Rather not tint over the dots
There is a guy close to me that solves the problem by wet-sanding the dots down before he puts on the tint.
Just find a good shop and let them know your concern; it isn't that big of a problem to get done correctly.

Just take a strip of black vinyl and put it over the dots. You can't see the dots in your rearview mirror when you look out the back window, so you can't see the vinyl strip once it's applied either.
