To the contrary of most on here, I actually like the painted spoiler and think it goes well with the berger panel - something I'm not usually a fan of in the first place!
As for the future, I would definitely NOT swap out the front fascia for a 98+; I'm of the opinion that although the '98-02 models are superior in a few ways, the front end is not one of them. I love the looks of the LT1 coming straight at you.
You mentioned the SS hood - definitely go for that. I always get excited when I see an LT1 SS because they seem so much more rare..

What do you guys think about the Ultra-Z hood? Along with lid conversion.
Thats the only other option I think, with a black stripe following the scoop to the windshield.
