Default What do you guys do for your leather?

Hey guys, well i got leather seats in my '98 and they are overall pretty nice. They do each have 1 crack, and the leather is beginning to look kinda worn. I like my leather seats a lot and would like to keep them nice as long as possible. What do you guys use to take care of your leather? Thanks!

There is a product called Leatherique that is probably the best. You have to order it though from their websites. 2nd best id say is Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner. You can find that at your local advance auto parts.

Leatherique is probably the best in the business. Not cheap tho. But the best.

Those clean/condition wipes are ok, but you need a dedicated cleaner and a dedicated conditioner if you really want your seats to last and stay looking good.

Leatherique.
You'll pay for it, but if you want the best there's no comparison.
There's plenty of before/after pics of it on the internet if you look around.

I actually sold my race seats about 2 months ago, and purchased a MINT set of Ebony TA seats, then the car sat at the shop for a month and a half...this reminds me I REALLY need to clean/condition mine. Good post OP.

ive been using meguiars wipes and it seems to work well.

I will say, that leatherique which one of the members mentioned looks sweet. There was a pic of a seat totally cracked and worn out, and then looked brand new with it.

Cracked leather was fixed by something in a bottle? Please provide a link to this magic trick. Thanks! I like Zaino Z-10 Leather in a Bottle for the leather smell, but I'm not real impressed by it's conditoning abilities.

Hide Food- sold at Jaguar/Aston Martin dealerships. Rolls Royce, Bentley leather treatment is the same stuff, just rebadged, and with a higher pricetag! It is a cream and comes in a jar (now plastic). Cleaner/conditioner in one, used to contain animal fats, not sure if it still does, it seems a little different from the way it was before 20+ years ago.
