I think it looked pretty killer too.... and am just seeing this thread now. Wonder how it would look on a NBM TA.

Sticks out a little here (has built in adjust ability, you can slide it back)...

I had to bump this thread. I never saw this and just happened to come across it in a search. this is EXACTLY what I have had in mind for the past 3 1/2 years for what I've wanted for my car. I've been wanting to customize my splitter to do this same look, so that it flows with the car better.

To see this photoshop was both depressing and inspiring. Depressing, because I know something like this will never be available for our cars But inspiring because it definitely gave me the motivation to try something out, and gives me more of a visual foundation of something to work towards on my own.

I wish I could make it happen. When I got done designing it, I was really pleased. It'd be cool to see it come to life. Enough paying buyers got the LT1 Dick Harrell bumper I photoshopped built. Maybe the same scenario of enough paying buyers and the time to do it on Marks end would make it happen.

This is something I would have the money for as soon payments are accepted. Without a doubt.

If McNord/ 6LE could pull this one off I'd be all over it.

This ZR1 inspired splitter looks so much nicer than the one offered now. It blends in and looks almost factory.

Will this ever become a prototype?

Sorry, not by us. It would have to be a urethane piece (mold cost for that is $5000-$9000 depending on the final complexity) and at least $2000 to build the prototype.

Then when all said and done you don't have a piece that will fit 1993-2002 F-Bodies, you don't have a piece that will fit 1998-2002 F-Bodies, you don't even have a piece that will fit all 1998-2002 Firebird models, you have a piece that will ONLY fit 1998-2002 Trans-Ams...

F-Body market is small enough, narrowing it down to 4 model years of a 11-15 year old car, well...

Our diffusers are just for Trans-Ams but they at least work on 1993-2002...
