I'll have to ask Mark and see if he has a way to offer them in carbon fiber as I do not have the ability to do so. If he can't, you could always have them hydrodipped.
Chrome was something I had considered though I looked into the costs of trying to do it myself and it just would have been too expensive. I did think the fact that these weren't chrome might turn some people away from these but after I polished the first prototype, I knew chroming them was unnecessary. Sure, on a bigger surface, almost anyone can tell the difference between polished and chrome but these are small enough that I don't think it is a problem. I am only going off of pictures here in terms of comparing Boyd's chrome rings to the pictures of my aluminum, but I do not think it is a stretch to say that these could be mistaken for their chrome counterparts. The flash on the pictures of my installed ring made it look a bit more silver. Here is a picture of Boyd's chrome cupholder ring and a different picture of me test fitting one of mine. They look pretty similar to me. Though maybe that is just some biased lol.

I have Boyds vents in and still like them pretty much as they seem thicker and more outstanding than yours, although I like yrs aswell in brushed. You have to do some light dremel work for the Boyd vents but the cupring is a direct glue in,aswell as the tweeter rings.
I have another bird and might be interested in trying yrs out..that is, if the price is right...how much are yrs ?thanks bro

I have a head unit coming in that has some small chrome accents on it, these will match perfectly. I know y'all are working on speaker rings also. What are the chances that maybe y'all can come up with something for the outer perimeter of the hvac *****? I think small accents straight down the center of the dash would look killer.
Thanks, and I apologize for bumping this 3 pages and 10 days up...lol

I am not sure how much interest there would be for those. That, and it would probably be a lot of work to get them to work there. If you can get a group of people together who would order them, then I would do it. Or, I would be more than happy to discuss the possibility of making them custom for you.
