I'm in. They told me it would be released in the next few weeks. I am definitely in. Did they tell you what the cost would be with the GP?

This will be around the same cost as the WS9 hood, it runs $695 plus truck freight delivery. VFNtech doesnt know if it will be included in the next GP or not. Once she gets it cleared with the owner she will let us know. As of right now, this hood is not due for release until mid April.

they keep moving the release date. at the end of every month i hear it's going to be at the end of an upcoming month. i'll be getting one whenever they get released, i just hope it's worth the wait and the installation goes smooth.

Argh, can't make up my mind whether I love the hood or not! One second it's yes and the other it's maybe. I'm not trying to thread crap on anyone as the hood is a quality piece coming from VFN for sure. I showed a pic of Q's car to my wife and she said it looked too 'intricate', guess there is a lot going on between the tag cover, turn signals, heat extractors on the side and the stuff in the middle It's just as others have said, it would be really nice to offer the hood without the heat extractor-like things in the center. Guess it would be too much like the Superhawk then?

As I'd posted in another thread, I absolutely love the two port look rather than the WS6 style. I loved the Raptor hood on my '99 and will def. have a 2 port hood on the '98. The Raptor just isn't tall enough for what I vision should be on the '98. I need to see some more pics of this hood on a few more cars before I can make up my mind for sure.

Either way, thanks for taking the time to put up the pics and for VFN bringing it to life!

QCon.. or anyone dealing with the hood... do the Vent Grilles come with it? and if they do do they come stainless/aluminum/plastic? or do they need to be purchased later... if purchased later, for the metal look like QCon's, are the nostrils the same size as the firehawk, or is this a piece that needs to be custom made?

I'm on the fence with this hood as well.

I know I'm gonna catch hell for sayin' this, but...

...it looks a little ricey

Maybe if it didn't have the aluminum grills or if it was painted and didn't look somewhat like carbon fiber I could dig it a little more.
