I have 98 formula firebird , i have bought a ram air hood for it aswell as a T/A front and rear bumper, I have the rocker moldings and the hatch. All i need is to get it put on and painted. Do u guys think is is stupid on tranforming my formula to a Transa am? could i call it a Trans am now ? Anybody here try this before?

Personally, I like the lines of the formula, and they look good with just the ws-6 hood. But it is up to you...if you like the Trans Am styling better, then go for it! It is a little late for this, but you could of bought GM ground effects for your formula too. They look nice as well. Would I call it a Trans Am? I like aspects of both. I plan on getting the rear bumber and ground fx from a T/A and putting it on my formula with a firehawk style hood. In my case, I'd still call it a Formula. In your case you might be able to get away with calling it a T/A or a T/A replica.

what do th ground effects look like ? anybody have pics , my car is aformula but could i put trans am badges on it ? i just hate the word formula an absolutly like the word Trans am much better.

I like the TA over the Firebird, but since its your car, do what will make you happy.

And im w/ everyone else, I'd still call it a Formula. It may look like a TA, but its not, keep it honest <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I personally love the TA look over a formula, but really if I was you, i would've gone with the formula front bumper, TA rear bumper, WS6 hood, TA spoiler and maybe the ground effects too if i had the money.
