A 17" X 9" or a 17" X 9.5" with a 275/40ZR17 will fit just fine. That is the stock wheel and tire combo on a SS or WS-6.

if you wanted to up the size of the wheel, and the drop was only about an 1 - 1.5" or so, if you did some wheel well work, and shaved some of the bump stop, they'd fit too right?

I have 17x11's rear and 9.5's on the front with 315's and 275's.

Car is lowered with Granatelli springs and no rubbing whatsover, even loaded with passengers, extra wheels for the track, etc.

Have shaved bumpstops and rolled rear fenders also.

They should fit fine, being lowered has very little to do with if a wheel fits, if more clearence is needed take some self tapping screws and screw the plastic part of the fender well to the metal fender well, just screw straight through, can gain up to and inch in the rear of front fenders.
