Valve covers just back from powder coating!
just got these back from a friend of mine that started doing powder coating on the side. they are a set off old stock covers i picked up from n2ostoker on here. the color is translucent red. the pictures do it no justice, it looks blood red in person but with a rediculous shine to it. if i had known it would come out like this i would have done some prep work to them before he shot them. he's gonna do a set of GTO wheels next in black chrome. should be

thanks guys! i honestly had no idea they would look so nice. it was my buddies first time using the translucent colors and he was just messing around on these. he said the next time he uses it he's gonna put down a chrome or silver under it to make it really sick. i believe he's doing a set of wheels for an r6 in the same color

Ok, so I'm gonna ask.....for those who have had a set of valve covers powder coated, how did you clean them out internally if there was any blasting media in them?
I got mine done in black & I can hear some blasting media trapped inside the stock baffles in the covers. I'm thinking just submerge them in a bathtub & slosh them around until cleaned out & then let them dry?
