this is how it looked when I first got it,I should have left it alone lol,I wish I never sold the hood but a guy gave me 875 for it at a car show and I said screw it lol,its not my dd and its more of a race car ,down the road ,way down the road when I do a turbo I will more than likely swap to a sunoco hood and some fisk wheels

 

still had 18s on in the rear of this pic,wanted to take it for a drive ,

 

after a good clay bar ,and buffing ,

 

was thinking about these headlights,I'm not a fan of the halo thing though but these are the best looking ones imo,and maybe the hella de fog lights,my fog lights have seen better days very yellow

 

I had a lot of pics of the engine,and what we have done so far but there on my comp. And that just died one day lol

 

I have been a big fan of the MS4,thing pulls like a train up top,with the new 12 bolt and 150 shot should run pretty good this year,also have katech rod bolts,and I will be getting a new k member when we install those.I m still thinking about the gear choice,more than likely something around 4.30s

 

this is something else I don't have a picture of,for anyone thinking of switching your shifter up look into the mgw,it is beyond the best shifter you can buy,the pro 5.0 shifter is good but this is great takes a lil bit to get used to because every thing is closer together but if your sick of missing shifts get one,

this is the only pic I have of the engine bay,was when I first got it,this was after cleaning,polishing the tb,brake lines,I wish I had a recent pic ,ac has been removed ,new valve covers ,and most of the wires relocated,just going for a clean look,also gonna get some stainless parts to make it look a lil better

So much potential with a white car! If you're willing to lose that drag set-up, l'm lovin the sunoco and wheel change idea. If you keeping it (not diggin' it, btw) at least paint the hood, mirrors, pop the moldings off and lower it a little....oh, lose the antenna too! Lol, mirrors, moldings and a drop should be done either way!

Whistler mod for the headlights is always a nice look.

 

I don't like the whistler mod,atenna was only on there for 2 days mine broke at the car wash,I thought about changing the drag set up but that's mainly what it does,I'm not that crazy about the hood but it has grown on me,when its painted in like a week it won't look as crazy,I think I will need the extra clearance under the hood in my future plans ,but a sunoco will more than likely give me about the same,thanks for the feedback though,I might change it up in the future,but for now all the money is going into performance,when I'm done I can drop the boat load of cash on new wheels,take care man and God bless

 

Bob my car has the mirrors painted black also. I wonder if someone is doing this to the white cars or what? My friend has an SS and his mirrors aren't black. His is a 2001 and mine is a 99.

I like the car but I say lower it. Not much but just a little or you could just save up for some QA1's and do the heater hose mod and be done with it.

Here is a pic of my car so you can see the mirrors and maybe get some ideas. This is an old pic before my car was lowered. No new ones sorry, I got deployed before I could take some.

 

Some cars just came with them,on my build sheet with my options with the grey and red int said it was 1 of 3 with my options and color combo,there is a web site that tells everything about the car I will have to get the website from my buddy,I had to print a copy and send it in to get collector tags,

00-02 Z28/SS's came with body colored mirrors. 98-99 came with black mirrors.

 

this is my fav camaro,and kinda what I will shoot for once the performance,suspension,and rebuild on the t56 are done,I might even sell the hood,how much do the fisek lol wheels go for 2?

 

I even love his decal,I also like those boze wheels but they got nothing on those ^.
