Has anyone smoked their DRL/turn lamps on a T/A
I am thinking about smoking my front and rear side lamps, the ones on the fender and quarter panel.
Has anyone smoked the front turn lamps in the bumper and/or the day time running lights?
I don't think I am going to smoke my tail lights because I like the honeycomb pattern.
Thanks.

I have my sides done but not the turn signals. The factory turn lenses on mine are in horrible shape, just might benefit from doing those too. Heres mine
In the day time, mine just blend in with the paint lol.

dont have smoked side markers, since the car is red i felt they look better all red, so i kept the stockers in the rear and swapped out the ambers up front. But i have done my DRL's, as well as the fog lights. And like you i chose not to touch the honeycombs, but i did black out the reverse section to get rid of the bug-eye look they have. sounds like you have a red car as well, so these should give you an idea of how it'll look for you, as well as the ceta mod.
Unfortunately i dont have any good head on or close up shots of the front, these are the best i've got.

I did 3 very light coats....just dusted the tint on from about a foot away. Then I did the same with the clear. Then wetsanded some to get rid of the texture. Then a couple of heavy coats, then polish.
In the first pic I posted, you can see a reflection on the drivers side drl, that's how shiny they came out.

Here's mine that I did myself. Crimson_bird, your bird looks SICK! I was ordering a T2i til I saw your shots and I knew I needed a camera like yours. Very nice! Do you have anymore pics or your album for pics?

Damn guys there are some nice looking pics in this thread. I really appreciate everyone taking the time to post. It's given me more ideas. I really like the way the splitter looks on the red car. I didn't figure I would like that kind of thing but it's sweet.
My car is never going to be done.
A question about the CETA mod, is it normally a gloss, satin or flat finish?
