After having these for over a year I finally worked up enough nerve to paint them to match my car. I started with 180 grit paper and work my way up from there. I used bondo fiberglass resin to fill in the corvette, a hand sander, used brake caliper clearcoat, sandable primer, and dupli color pacific green met for paint. This was a lot easier to do then I thought. Still gotta get some heat tape for the back before they go back on. This was my first time so don't bash them to bad.

Overall I really like the look of them, the covers look like they could use some clear coat and/or some wet sanding between the coats, would give the green more depth.
