^^Either way. You can just unscrew the center bracket and latch this in OR you can cut out the center bar all together.

Glass was a $40,000 mold and that was for NOT SMOOTH glass even. Each top would have cost me around $3K...

Looked into lexan even and not a $$$ feasible alternative.

Having a targa with the center cut would be great! I would miss the glass roof though.

The prototype was the weight of ONE t-top and it was way thicker than the finished product (it was a fiberglass shell, two pieces, WITH a Carbon Fiber top skin)...
That's what I love to hear...tax refund will be put to good use...lol. Might have a new set of shoes along with a "tube top". haha

a carbon fibre one is one my list to do (soon as i have extra funds) although i would like to cut out the center bar but im concerns having something to finish the area where you cut it out (the metal edge that has been cut)
have you thought of any solutions to this?

yeah but if you cut the crossbar out wouldnt you lose most of the rigidity of the car?

Not really. But sub frames should be installed afterwards. theres only about 5" width of thin steel in the middle between the windshield and back halo section.
