Default Tint Question

So just yesterday I finally got around to having tint done to the car.I already have a 5% strip across front windshield and 5% on back hatch. The previous owner took side tint off b/c of ticket and I had some extra cash to get it done finally.I wanted somewhat visiblity at night so decided 15% for the sides.Drove it last night and the 15% is perfect for night.Very happy with the job except now the front windshield stands out like a sore thumb and lets so much light in I can see a lot more than I want to through the sides. It does blend in good with back hatch .So I was wanting to do either 50% or maybe even 35% on the entire front windshield.I have T top shades on when I dont want any light through there. Not sure if 50% will be too light or just right with the rest of my combo and if 35% will work or be way to dark for the front and get hassled all the time from cops.Any opinions and even pics would be great.I already know everything is illegal......Thanks Guys.

I think 35% on the windshield might be a little too much.

Im thinking 50% will make it just right also.35% would make it dark and dead give away with windows even down and would make my 15% sides dark as 5%'s.

Do 50%, you would regret 35% the first time its raining and dark out.

50% is good, I think 35% would be too dark, and visibility would not be too great

A friend of mine has an S2000 with 5% tint sides/back, and 35% on the windshield. DEFINITELY go lighter than 35% on the windshield. I was driving the car in a heavy rainstorm at night and could barely see anything.

Several people have said that putting tint on the windshield adds a lot of glare, but I don't know. I've considered going with 50% on my windshield, but would never go darker than that.

Never heard of the glare but could depend on the type/quality? Idk

on my truck ive got 5 over the factory 20 on the back 5 on the doors and 35 on the windshield, no brow yet.

honestly most people that ride in the truck dont notice it unless i point it out.

with 6000k 55w hids its fine driving at night. rain driving is not noticeably worse than it was before. it cuts down on glare a lot during bright days

i was a little worried about it before i did it but now that im used to it im very happy i did it. ill be doing the trans am the same way as soon as its running again.

The guy he bought it from said it is 30, It doesnt look that dark though honestly, i thought it was 50. I can always put up a pic too if ya want. Yeah ive driving and riden it and there is no problems anytime at all. My other friends porche has 20% on the sides and its never hard to see out. I have 5% on sides and it is pretty much impossible to see out at night. On my friends rsx though its really not that obvious, but deffinatly makes the windshield not stand out anymore. I like it alot actually. Maybe after i see what you do ill do mine too!
