Default Removing side-view mirror

I'm trying to fix a gap in my mirror. I'm guessing something is bent inside.

I took my door panel off earlier to attempt to adjust my leaky (at the auto carwash) window and decided to try and fix the gap in the mirror. I removed the 3 nuts and the one Phillips screw and nothing moved. I loosened up the two bolts on the bracket towards the bottom and still nothing moved.

With about 20 minutes left of sunlight, getting quite colder, and feeling defeated after not being able to get the window aligned any better i had to start putting everything back together.

I read something about possibly having to take the mirror out? How do you remove the assembly?

For the gap for the mirror silt probably the bracket in the mirror housing that's broken. Just remove the plastic cover and there are 3 bolts holding the mirror on
