I'm 6'6" and I don't even have my seats all the way back, I don't have them reclined at all either

legroom is fine, headroom is okay, might go aftermarket eventually to gain room for when I have a helmet on, but other than then I have no problems at all

That and so you do not shatter someones legs in the back seat?

I just bought a camaro last week with super low miles. the seats have so much padding that it really had me sitting too far foward and I felt very cramped. I just did this mod and it is about the best thing ive ever done to a car. it makes me love the car. im happy. anyone feeling cramped, this really helps.

Guys, this worked just great for me in my 2002 Formula Firebird. I'm 6ft 6 and was very uncomfortable. I made these brackets out of 1/4" steel I bought at Home Depot. It's pretty obvious from the pictures how to make them. You'll want a drill press to make these cause drilling that stuff isn't fun. Once done I painted them. installed them and I have even more room for my 34"-36" inseam legs than I need, I don't have the seats set as far back as they now can go. The bracket pieces for moving the seat front to back are 5" long and that is plenty. Hope this helps someone in my situation.

Geez, I'm sure that works great but I'd hate to see that in my car. If you don't care about presentation then cool but ugly is an understatement.

SHOCK back from the dead.

I did this mod to my 99 Z28 with power seats but can't remember what I did.

The GF just bought a 2002 LE SS and I need more room.

Sorry for the fossil being brought back, the pics are dead
