Foglight upgrade
When I had my little accident on the freeway a couple of weeks ago my foglight got cracked . It still works but I'm sure its going to need to be replaced. Now, what do I replace it with ? I've seen aftermarket foglights at Pep Boys, WalMart, Auto Zone, etc, but I just don't know if they are any good or will even fit. Can any of you guys help me? It would be great if I can get specifics, size, brand, any pics you may have if you have them.
Thanks

Re: Foglight upgrade
I installed a set of PIAA 004X's in place of the stock ones. I had to modify the stock brackets(drill holes through stock and PIAA bracket) to mount the PIAA's but they look perfect. I opted for the ION gold bulbs for an amber look cause my HID's are too overpowering for white.
Anyways its an option, wiring was simple too since you use the existing Camaro wiring for the stock foglights (black=grnd and blue=hot).
Good luck

Re: Foglight upgrade
do a search over on LS1.com and search for user pedaltothemetal. he sells the KMAX superwhite foglights for 24.95 shipped i believe, if not around there as i have forgotten. he does his transactions quickly and very efficiently. its a great product and the look is so much better over stock.
