i redid a lot of the wiring in my car like that, just used new tape and plastic loom though....still came out nice.

btw my car went 130mph last night...ET's were 12.2 down to 11.23, all 129-130 mph....et street radials don't hook too well, 60's were 1.9-2.2 then i got kicked out for not having a cage

you need to have that thing done so we can hook up on the next power tour

Pretty good MPH Ben! Lol on being 'asked to leave' . Power Tour next year is something I would consider as a feasible date! Missed all of them so far this year.

Intake will be finished next week.... Then I can finally get into the meat and potatoes of this project!

^^Thanks!

Its a "side entry" nylon sleeve I found on-line. Cabletiesandmore.com will get you guys the same stuff. Should be durable, hugs the wires really well. Plan on spending a small fortune as its priced by foot and they offer various sizes....the math gets a little crazy, but you end up finding all kinds of places to use it! Took two orders until I got it right.

Looks great in the sunlight and finishes the wires that cant be hidden really nice. Very pleased. Fingers hurt like hell, but it'll be worth it...

^^^ Worked with that stuff before. Strong and looks great but a pain in the *** to feed wiring through. Anyone considering this should be prepared to spend a long afternoon or maybe longer to get this right.

How did you feed the loom into section that goes to the fuel injector connectors? Did you take the connectors off for that?

If I understand your question, there were a couple tricks there but remember it still side-entry loom, so the effort was packaging the wire taking in consideration of its installed position - running the injector wire loom far enough into the mating "main" harness so its not exposed when installed. As we've both said....it takes some time to do it right.

I'm sorry I still don't understand what you did. So you fed the injector connector into the loom? Remove the connector to feed in loom? Use a different method?

Sorry for asking so many questions. I really like the way you did it and I'd like to do the same if I can understand what you did.

Ah, I see the disconnect now. The loom is split like the factory plastic. All you have to do is slide the wire into the side of it. Note the close up in the last pic or the side-by-side of taped vs new loom in pic #5. You can see the split "seam".

Oh, ok, I thought the loom had no seam. I've never seen nylon loom with a seam. The only type I've ever worked with is the one where wire slides in through the ends. Did you have to close the seam in any way? Or does the loom hold everything together well without it? Thanks for the help.
