Damn I can't believe this thread is 8 years old. It was the first build I followed once joining the site.
I agree with lees, one of the best cars on here.

When you think you’re being original and discover you may have underestimated / overlooked a few things. Design validation complete...but painful.

Not wanting to risk another header / wire melt....over did the new wires (thank you Firecore). Ceramic coated the headers too (thank you JetHot)

Ditched the unnecessary complicated double pumper fuel set up and simplified the system thanks to evolving technology....Walbro 450 in place now

I've been through this thread a few times and that's the first time I realized where your coils are. Pretty ingenious mounting spot man. No water problems?

Thx...car doesn’t see water and I knew it never would. Probably not my first choice if it was a daily 😎

Mine isn't but I have them on the backside of the rad support where battery and fuse panels were. Avoids the water issue , but adds a lot of wire and still.have the possibility of burning the wires even with them.ran under the headers
