Project OVRKILL: The BLING Phase!!!

Hopefully he changes his mind and continues with this thread at least. The heat surrounding Va Speed has seemed to cool off lately. Brent's build is larger than any engine shop drama, and has a lot to offer besides the cool engine setup. It's one of my favorite builds/reads here and one of the few threads I follow. Sick build. I hope the thread sticks around and gets back on track with Brent updating it.
I don't really blame him though. It would suck constantly answering/defending things he really has no part in. Last I read, he is from Mi. Long way from Va.

also true, hopefully he doesn't mind me spilling this information, but a big reason the engine isn't "done" yet is because they are using his motor to test Cam Motion's (Futral) new cam lobe design. all in all this thing is going to be one of the nicest 800+ horsepower fbody we will ever see lol

Converting back to a roller temporarily as its headed back to the body shop for some "cowl clearing" so the new bullet fits Sorry for fuzzy pics...think most will get the idea.
A few pics from today's progress...
Has nothing to do with it rolling, just thought it looks cool

That looks awesome.
I wish I could put those brakes on mine. They will not fit with 3/4s of my rims though and not willing to buy 3 new sets of rims just yet.
I need to get going on mine.

Getting back to a roller phase as she heads back to the body shop this week.
Dropped the rear end again to replace shock dust covers with black (painted ones were an eventual fail), replaced spring isolators with a shortened version, fuel tank/pump, etc in place, panhard relocate in with new upper and lower bars.
Hits the ground tonight on all 4's with wheels and tires for the first time since recieving them LAST SPRING!
Oh....and a peak at an ITB runner for fun

That fab nine looks pretty sweet under there. Definetly a intense project.
Question, have you set your pinion angle yet? I figure not, since your like me and the car hasn't been on all fours yet.

Thanks Brian.....wish I had the stones to paint my underside like you did! These 9's are bad *** (badder in black )......don't have the trans or engine in yet so no pinion angle set. Just hangin from the torque arm and crossmember.
