Opinions on these wheels
Was wondering what you all thought about these wheels?
<img src="http://www.wideopenwest.com/~arcticformula/SphereXX.jpg" alt=" - " />
<img src="http://www.wideopenwest.com/~arcticformula/SphereXX01.jpg" alt=" - " />
I saw them on
http://www.budnik.com/
I have been looking around trying to find something which appeals to me and is somewhat different. There are so many wheels out there, it's quite amazing. These SphereXX wheels are pretty expensive, anyone seen anything virtually identical by some other manuafacturer? And of course if anyone has these on their 4th gen, I would love to see some pix.
Regards,

Re: Opinions on these wheels
Hey SSDriving,
Those are very sweet wheels as well (I might actually like the K20 and K28 better than the Fiske FM/10, and love those!). I didn't see any prices on their website, have you inquired about the cost? I would be curious, but they LOOK really nice, about $750 a piece plus nice <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> .
Regards,
John

Re: Opinions on these wheels
Well I guess it doesn't matter,
I just got an e-mail back from Budnik, they say that the XX Series wheels fit the 1997-2003 C5 Corvette. Don't the C5's have the same bolt pattern as the f-bod? Are the wheel studs the same? I hate having limited choices <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> !

They may look good on a lambo, but on a fbody they just look....well.... ------> <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" />

Re: Opinions on these wheels
Those just don't work for me. I'm with DARK AGE 53 on the Budnik Argon & Cobalt. Unfortunately, their 17" rims won't clear my C5 brakes. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
