Day pics didn't help, nor would painting the hood. Consider the experiment is over. Nice try, but in anything other than black or a version of (grey, etc) I'd have to say doesnt work.
Should look sweet once the hood is done, can't really judge it without!

Hard to tell for sure. This looks like one of those cases where the pics will never do justice to seeing it in person.

Interesting. Very interesting, indeed. I should buy a second set of head lights and have them painted body colored and swap them out with my 6LE pre-whistlered ones whenever I get bored.

Here are a couple pics. Sorry it took so long to update this thread. The clear needs to be resprayed on the hood but you get the idea. Also the whole red headlight thing...if the lenses are crystal clear it would look good in person. Mine in the pic are so far gone now that im about to change them out.

When ever you try something different there will all ways be some that don't care for what you are going for. I like it with the hood painted, flows much better into the headlights.
Kinda reminds me of the member who painted the bezel around the headlights of his LS T/A to match the body color. Not everyone was a fan, but taste is subjective...I painted my bezel after seeing it lol.
