Hmm I better get my order in before they realize its getting popular and jack the price up!
I was thinking about doing this, but I wanted to position it as well as I could directly in front of the drivers seat. Ill have to take the dash pad off and see where there is room to place it though.

The image will be distorted if you put it in the defrost grill. It needs to be in front of the driver for it to be usable. Get an HUD app for your smartphone if you don't believe me...

+1 but you can use cut a piece out so the "projector" part of it isn't covered but like ZexGX said, its really gotta project in front of the driver.
Does it have to be really close to the windshield like in that video? If it's gonna be done "clean" on our dashes it's gotta be a bit farther from the windshield than that.

Came in today, tested it out...
It can not go directly over stock gauges due to the curve of our dash. It also has a slight double image but I didn't use the tint and it isn't day light or anything...
I'm going to carry these on my site (for the same price in the other link) so if you guys want them please go through me.
I'll make literally about $10 off of the sale BUT I plan to take any money from that and work on making a nice mounting pod for it so we can mount it in the right place easily...

Mark, looks GREAT! With the HUD phone app I had the phone directly centered on the steering column, near the base of the windshield (pretty low) and it seemed like a good place. Is that possible with this unit, or can it not fit there due to dashboard curvature or device thickness?

I would definitely order it through you to help support a vendor, but going to the site that makes them, www.360infinteusa.com you can get them for $175 shipped. Depending on the model you want you can get them for that price or less on their ebay store. Not sure where you ordered it from but just giving you a heads up on the price difference.
SO, I logged back into my account and sure enough I paid almost $200 AND THEN I REALIZED that was WITH almost 10% tax because they are in Cali.
Long story short, price is now adjusted, $180 shipped.
