Default powdercoat removal?

I am not sure if this is in the correct section, sorry if its not. I bought a couple of used parts from members on here (UMI torque arm relo bracket and Spohn front sway bar). The parts werent the color i would have normally ordered, but for the prices i couldnt pass them up. I am trying to get the powdercoating off the UMI piece and this stuff is extremely resilient. Anything ive hit it with so far it kinda just laughs at lol. Ive hit it with a small sand blaster and 3m discs both fine and coarse grit. Ive also hit it with some serious wire wheels used for cleaning up welds to no avail. Im about ready to give up and just paint over the powdercoat as ghetto as that sounds. Short of an acid bath what could i do? Any help is appreciated thank you.

get some brake fluid on it, I think that will get it off. I know I've heard that if you install powerdcoated calipers, to make sure you don't get brake fluid on them...or use aircraft remover you can get from walmart, spray it on, leave it sitting overnight, then use a scraper or a wire wheel on a grinder, and watch it fly off...

I was gonna give this a try on some small pieces. I know eastwood sells a solvent but it's kinda expensive.

another option is to get some citristrip gel at home depot, doesn't have to sit overnight, just brush some on the part, wait about 15 mins. and brush it off with a stiff bristled brush. 32 oz. for around $12.

Powdercoat over it, or paint it & be done.
Strippin' the whole thing would be a huge pain, ...

At this point i think im going to just paint over it...if i would have known it would be that tough i would have never tried to get it off...I am a little worried that some of that stripper or the like would compromise the integrity of the metal....that worries me specifically with the sway bar...so looks like paint over it is the way to go
