Those who have rolled their fender lips come in.......
Just had someone roll them last night for me using a "fender rolling" tool. He said the fender lips were extremely stiff...much more than others he had done. It took him about 2 hours of adjusting and rolling to get them to about a 40 deg angle with no paint cracks or chips. Ok, now for my concern. When he was done I noticed some small ripples in the fender right above where he did the work. You can only really notice them if you are looking across the fender at the right angle under light. Is this pretty common? The rippling occurs at every weld spot on the fender lip, which makes sense. It figures that GM would over design the fender just to make things more difficult
Please give me your experience with this...

I just got a pair of pilers and rolled them up a little, so the tires wouldn't hit them. Took about 5 mins. The ripples are due to more stress on the fender and on the welds. Maybe he rolled them up TOOOO FAR.
