It's a MAJOR pain in the *** doing it that way. The best way to do it IMHO would be to mark and measure the harness, pull it and then re-route and re-wire.

Take some pictures of this stuff please? I am thinking about attacking this project when I get home.

I just didn't have the means /help to pull the entire harness. It was actually quite simple the way I did it, just time consuming. But its a time consuming thing no matter what.

As for pics, I have some and could take more but I no longer have Internet, just the 3G access for my phone so I couldnt upload em anyway. Now I'm gonna go through and move and hide some more wiring.

Ok guys here is an update and lessons I have learned. Its been a while since I have worked on it, I have about half of the wires soldered up under the dash. I will be getting a pinout on some of the other wires. I had a minor mishap when running the wires. When I disconnected the ABS block some of the brake fluid dripped onto my masking tape and bled some of my numbered wires that I had written with a sharpie. It wouldnt be a bad thing if I didnt have 15 million wires ran under the dash many of them being the same color with the same stripe. Also I noticed at harbor freight they have a wire locator. You clip the box at one end of the wire and the other end you can use this little pen probe to find out what wire you are attached to and where it goes. I will end up buying it as soon as I get this 3000gt painted.
I will also be relocating the ABS block from out of the hood area and into the rear hatch area in which I will do a write up on as well.
As for the holes I cut in running the fuse box wires, its a 3/4 inch hole with a grommet which barely fits all the wires, but it is definitely doable as long as you remove the brake master cylinder. The hole is just under the drivers side hood shock in that inner fender area. The wires then run up that inner fenderwell and down and come out where your cruise control box is and runs under the radiator support to where your wires go from there. I have plenty of room for the twin turbos now. I will snap you some pics in a few days. Anyway until then, be safe guys.

Sounds good! Good luck with getting those wires matched back up. I had ONE that I couldn't figure out, turns out that damn thing just loops back to itself! I made the mistake of failing to run the wires through the wheelwell so I'm gone end up de-soldering my connections AGAIN. :-(

What gauge wire do you use to lengthen everything with and what type of wire? Oh and how much did you use for the fuse box harness

Well that project is done...thank god...I had a couple wires fubared mainly up front...turn signal bringing the headlight motors up....lol stupid ****...but they were simple fixes...I think I had 2 wires not done right, simply because there were more than one white stripe greens or whatever. Its done, glad I done it...have a little problem now though...
I need to hook up my boost controller and I have about 1000 zip tied wires to sort through under my dash and I just need an ignition wire, tach wire, and wideband wire.

I couldn't push mine down into that hole where you did. Some of the turbo piping is going down there. Not only that but when you blow a fuse have fun finding it.

Mine are still very easy to get to. I made my own brackets.

See the spot on the drivers front of the engine bay. The AIR motor is usually down there. He removed the motor, shoved his harness down in that hole and made a block off plate to hide the ugliness.

I would assume he tucked it under the frame rail and up in the hole that is now covered.
