Default Fuse box relocation

Relocating the fuse box and ECM inside the car so there will be more room for the twin turbo setup. The biggest pain in the *** so far was the bulkhead connector on the firewall. Unbolting it wasn't hard however it was caked up with that dielectric grease that turned into the consistency of cold dried up hot glue. Its been a pain in the ***. We are still in the process thought we would drop off a couple pictures of the progress so far.

Look forward to seeing the process, should clean up things and make some good room. Pics along the way would be awesome...

We got some more done. All wires fed back through the firewall.

This is how clean this area looks now. Need some paint.

Under the dash looks horrible right now

I have found the perfect location for both fuse boxes. Still accessible, and reuse our fuse boxes. I had to grind off the plastic sliders with a dremel that originally held the fuse boxes together.

Made the bracket for one of the fuse boxes.

More pics coming tomorrow, maybe one tonight of the boxes mounted.

I just hope you got it finished before next time I visit. What a pain! At least the hardest part is over.

I have a feeling that was the easiest part Rick. Chances are I won't be able to work on it again until Wednesday night. BMR turbo k-member came in today but I need to get this done first before starting on another project. Last night I was figuring how everything was going to be placed. I think I am going to drill a hope almost directly behind the intake janitor into the firewall and run the wires to the ECM through it. ECM will mount under the HVAC and it fits perfectly and will not be seen. I need to cut a hole in the drivers side inner fender and run some wires up through the front there for the headlights/foglights/ etc etc. It's all going to look damn good when I am done just a **** ton of work and figuring.
On a side note if you want to come over this weekend you are more than welcome to lol. I'm sure we can find something to do hehe. Same goes for you too big mike lol I know your trolling around.

Lol the fun hasn't even began yet. Been working and going to school. Tomorrow I get to get started on it again. I will be sure to post pics along the way. I think I am going to pull the k-member so I can drop the engine a bit to put the hole in the firewall and run the ECM wires through it. Anyway folks I will update tomorrow.

LMFAO, how'd you know...Hey, did you locate that clutch assembly we talked about?

And I want no part of the wiring nightmare, LOL. I get pissed just running wires for simple pod gauges through the car.
