Need top color interior plastics
Need top color interior plastics Hey guys. I need to redo my interior. I painted it last year but the paint is scratching off in the high traffic areas, door handle, rocker trim, door panel, center console etc. I washed, prepped and did everything well and it still comes off! Even used a plastic promoter for painting.
So what am I doing wrong guys? How can I get the color to stay? There is a way guess GM can do it.

Only way its gonna last is either go through the full painting process, primer, base coat & clear coat. Just like you would the exterior of the car. Or get the pieces hydro-dipped in the color of your choice.
I saw another post about wrapping. I think I saw you in there? ANyway, I think it would be cool to wrap the car in leather or fake leather. I looked it up and its cheap to do.
Not really. If you buy cheapo material & glue it'll look like dog **** quick. You have to buy quality UV rated leather & quality glue. It takes time, patience & good material. Otherwise its a waste of time.

Just a word of advice, anything thats gonna be a well done worth while interior upgrade will not be easy. You'll find through trial & error most the easy fast upgrades will most likely turn into a eye sore later. I have fell victim to a couple cheapo fast interior mods that looked alright at first but after a while realized it make the interior look even cheaper than stock, LOL.

Yea, I did my dash black a couple years ago and it has held up well. Not a high traffic area though
