Interior + Courtesy LED's Finished
how would i go about just changing the map light bulbs to leds? like can someone point me in the right direction of how to do that? do i just replace the bulbs themselves?
Led I tapped into the wires from the map light to power my LED s .problem is
the light stays on all the time regardless if door is open or closed .what
did i do wrong? its a 94 bird btw that year car does not have a BCM.

I know that in LS1's the BCM cuts the ground out which shuts off the lights. Hopefully someone else can chime in
light problem the lights are fully lit . there are 3 wires at the back of the mirror. orange is
the power . black is ground and a white wire i assume its for the delay . i
hooked a test light into the connection for the power -orange- the test light
lit up , so i spliced my led light tube to it then spliced into the ground wire
once i did this the light tube lit up , but ,all doors were closed nothing else
was on but that light tube .so i opened and closed all doors to see if it
would respond , nothing . it just stays lit . just for giggles and ***** . i
hooked the test light into the white wire and the test light lit very dimly
i got leds in the dome and map lights and they work fine. this is the only thing thats giving
me fits.

I tapped into my dome light; I went with UV LEDs. Lights turn on/off when the doors/hatch are open/close and when I manually turn on the dimmer switch. There are some LED bulbs that will actually allow a tiny tiny amount of light through and remain just a tad lit (this would be most evident with brighter colors). others will completely turn off.

Did my LED conversion this past weekend minus the front footwells, which are next on the list... I went with all Blue LED's. I already have white LED's in the gauges but I changed the Rpm and Speedo Bulbs for Blue ones and I will be doin the rest now after seeing how much better the Blue ones look.
