Detail: LT1 Camaro
This car was brought to me after speaking to the owner and not really sure what I could do with it as the back portion of the car was pretty bad and definitely shows its age. The car is not 100% perfect but definitely a night and day difference.
Car was washed using Meguiars hyper wash and two bucket method with grit guards.
Wheel wells and barrels were cleaned with APC 1:10
Wheels were hit with Meguiars wheel brightener.
Entire car was clay barred using Clay Magic’s blue clay
Various sections required using Lake Country’s purple hybrid foamed wool pad, along with an orange, black, white, and blue finishing pad.
Meguiars M105 & M205 were used to correct the finish on the paint.
Menzerna SIP was used on the B-pillar as it finished down a little better.
It was polished and sealed using ShowroomFX crystal black.
All rubber was dressed with ShowroomFX.
All trim and wheel wells were dress using Meguiars natural finish.
The front half of the car had been repainted by the owners friend. The hood scoops were left wetsanded with out being polished.
After a Purple Hybrid foamed wool LC pad with M105 followed by M105 with an Orange LC pad followed by M205 on a black LC pad:
50/50 shot of the passenger side b-pillar:
Showing the correction under the halogen:
Checking progress in the sun:
Driver side b-pillar before:
Again:
Dust was so bad this day...after:

After:
Rear bumper oxidation:
The owner was surprised at how this came out and didn't expect there to be any shine to it at all:

After:
50/50 shot of bumper oxidation:
Another shot:
Spoiler swirls/minor oxidation:

Remember these guys that were sanded?
Questions/Comments are welcome.
Thanks for taking a look.

I like to exceed my customers expectations a little but I went a little over board with this one. I just don't like putting out work (even if I'm not paid for ) that "looks" like I didn't do anything to help it. So that, along with my OCD kicks in and the end result is above in the pictures. It's also a good way to keep customers coming back by going that little extra mile for something they didn't request. In the end, it's worth it to me because I enjoy doing this.
Thanks again
