Default Metal Polish #2: The Return

Our metal polishing system has been reformulated, and #2 is finally ready to go! VOC laws forced us to discontinue #2 a while back, but thanks to a lot of testing and tweaking with a new VOC compliant solvent we're able to bring it back.

Adam and I did our final run thru with the product this week while I was in Colorado. What better test vehicle than his '73 Bronco... check out the pics and videos for a great example of what this stuff can do!! Metal Polish 2 goes on sale Monday.

Dylan, how did you apply the polish? Was it by hand or did use use something like the Powerball/cone? I'm getting ready to place another order and might get some of this polish.

Check out the video... it was done 100% by hand using our standard microfiber applicator pads.

Not really... its for polishing metal so basically it works on some levels by causing the surface of the material to oxidize. If there is a coating that prevents the product from coming into contact with the metal then its not going to be effective. As per the video its for non-coated metal surfaces.

Thanks Dylan! That's great results, especially for hand polishing. I'll add the set with my order.

Ceramic coated headers can be polished with a non-abrasive polish.

From the video it looks like this should really make my wheels shine - just ordered the upgraded (16 oz) set so I can polish my wheels and get them looking even better.

By definition all polishes are abrasive to one degree or another (metal, paint, or otherwise), you just have to be sure to use a very fine abrasive.

Something like our Fine Machine Polish or Revive Polish are probably about as aggressive as you'd want to go with a white or blue foam pad.
