I need some quick feedback on how to do my engine
polished aluminum radiator cap, coolant resovoir cap, and master cylinder cap. I will get the master cylinder cover in polished aluminum soon.
Okay, my car is SOM and I'm using black accents on the outside. I'm sending my throttle body, hood hinges, valve covers, bolts, and hose clamps off to be powdercoated/polished.
valve covers- chrome or black?
TB-chrome, black, or SOM?
hinges-black or chrome?
I am thinking the bolts and clamps will look best in a chrome-like powdercoating. Thanks for any feedback!
<strong> valve covers- black
TB- SOM
hinges- black
Just my opinion.

TB: SOM .. my shop has a power paint that is a perfect match to SOM..
FRC's: SOM
Intake: Silver
Hinges and all other "hardware".. CHROME (reason: you just cant beat chrome for looks, especially on the hood hinges. Black is nice but 90% of the people wont even realize you did anything)
Another color that would look good would be a charcole grey metallic color (like on my engine plaque) instead of the black.. but black would be nice also
Have fun <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
