its like a chirping sound around my hatch or towards the back i havent pin pointed it yet but a friend of mine has 00 SS to and he says he has the same problem...if anyone else has please let me know how to fix it, it gets so annoying when youre just out riding <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Are u somewhere that is cold right now? If so I had a 96 camaro that did the same thing but only in the winter I think what happens is the weather stripping gets cold under the hatch and when u hit little bumps it makes a squeak noise I would just try some like armorall or leather care on the rubber and see if that helps also spray down the hatch shocks with some wd-40 and rub it on the bars just my .02 and dont forget about the tight rubber stripping by the glass just make sure u get every rubber weather strip in the back

Is the jack mounted in its place properly?

I had'nt mounted it in all the way and it was driving me insane for weeks... <img border="0" alt="[bomb]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bomb.gif" />

probably a bird, just get it with the hose <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

A good lubing should cure any sort of chirping though..
