I think if you went with Mothers or Meguires clay bar and spray you'll get just as good a results, both of this can be had at places like AutoZone, Wal-Mart etc.

I would use Clay Magic, there are alot of other choices but you need to mail order
Use Mothers if you really need to clay and can't find the Clay Magic but stay away from Meguiars, it's crumbles, falls apart and it is not overall effective.

I like the Mother's brand better than the Meguiar's. The latter seems to not glide as easily and/or is more prone to sticking. Perhaps it's the lubricant that comes with it.
Haven't used Clay Magic in years, but I remember thinking it was at least as good as the Mother's. Haven't used the Zaino variety.

Re: Which clay bar to get?
I have a 2 black cars and I would only use Zaino on them. It makes the car look so good and after the clay bar is done it is so smooth. I am not saying Mothers or Meguires are bad, but Zaino is a quality product. The results say it all.

You guys claim Zaino is the best but how many other bars have you used
If your new to claying I would really tell you to go with clay Magic, the Mothers is nice but it takes a little more rubbing than Clay Magic and you don't want to rub any more than you need to.

Re: Which clay bar to get?
Well, I used the CLay Magic last year on my car, and what a POS! Thing barely held up to the end of the car before falling apart, and really stopped picking up debris about 2/3 of the way through. I even washed the car twice with Dawn before using the Clay Bar. I am ready to clay the car again, and will most definitely be going with another product!

I use Clay Magic and didnt have any trouble at all with it. I did however with the Zaino one as it fell apart into a soggy piece of bread
I've been using Clay Magic religiously for 4 years now

Re: Which clay bar to get?
I don't what your doing to tear up a Clay Magic bar but your doing something wrong. Either that or you got a bad bar, which I really doubt.
I used to even use soapy dawn water as a lube and I never had trouble with the bar falling apart. It dawn wont tear apart a clay bar I don't think anything will.
The Zaino bar fell apart on you? Wow, what were you using a lube and how soaked was the bar? Just wondering why it fell apart....

My Zaino Clay turned to useless mush too. And I did not like the results. Seemed too ahrsh, but maybe it is just me.

Re: Which clay bar to get?
I've used Mothers and Meguires and the Mothers is much better. Meguires seemed to stick no matter how much detailing spray I used. I clay my car 2-3 times a year.
