No. The length is the same. HID replacement bulbs are almost always longer (exceptions being H3C, for example).

So, say I'm replacing all my rear lamps (besides side markers and license plate lamps).

I need
921 ST
194 ST
3157 ST x2

Will those work correctly?

It's possible. Just get the color of your choice and swap it out.

Not to revive an old thread but i found a really easy method to removing the bulbs from the rear view mirror:
First remove mirror from mount and unhook connection cable.
Using a flat head remove the light lens. And the best advice and the easy method for removing that bulb, just take the same flat head and put it under the bulbs edge of the metal cylinder end and lift. It will pop out of the metal clip, repeat for the other side.
This was a nice mod because it took less than 5 minutes.

And for mhugney, just use less layers

I use the bulbs listed for the front turn signals and they look yellow, not amber. I don't like the yellow color at all it looks meaner if it's more of an orange color.

No. 1156 is the round bayonet-style socket. 98-02 Firebirds come with a wedge-based 3155/3156/3157 style bulb socket for the primary brake lights and reverse lights.

3357A/3457A is a higher wattage than 3157A and will melt the plastic housings (I made this mistake once because I wanted it to be brighter than stock 3157 but didn't think about the increased heat output of a higher wattage bulb). DO NOT USE THEM!!!!
Also, 3157 is a yellow bulb. 3157NA is the amber bulb.

3157NA is an Amber 3157. If it was not orange-coated to produce an amber light color, then you purchased a regular 3157 or they labeled the package wrong. The bulb in the list for an '02 Trans Am is 3157NA, so... Yeah.

Default hi

Can someone list a full LED conversion for my 1994 firebird I don't want to get the wrong bulbs as they are expensive.

Do I need some sort of kit to convert the headlights?
