Thanx to all who replied. The blackouts I'll have to think about...

I've already made up my mind about the hood. I absolutely have to have the 4" Cowl. I don't know why, but I've compared all the other hoods and this one looks the best to me. Makes the 98+ Camaro lookdown right MEAN! Even better on a black car IMO. Throw on my favorite rims(17" TT2's) and I'm set.

But there is this one other rare hood on some black 98+ Camaro with a big block under the hood I believe(something like 700+ hp) that looks even better. It's like the SS hood but waaaay more visually stated and aggressive looking. Nobody knows anything about it though???

That is the ZL1 Camaro with the ZL1 big block hood. I had just bought that exact same hood for my 2000 SS this last summer. The only downside to it, is it's price. It cost me $1200 for the hood. The damn thing only weighs like 8 or 9 pounds. If you would like to see pics of it just e-mail me and I'll send you some pics. Personally......I don't care for the blackouts..especially on a black car. It would be nice if someone could develop a light smoke cover that would fit FLUSH with the front fascia. I think that would look real good!

I'm not a fan of the black outs, but I would go with clear blinkers in the front

I do not like front headlight covers on the 93-02 Camaros at all, it's more to do with the IMO cheesy quality of the covers.
